310 Williams 1908

This Old Home is a classic Queen Anne from the Victorian era. The Victorian era is from 1837-1901 which is the reign of Britain’s Queen Victoria. The wrap-around porch is adorned with Free Classic columns. Classic columns are found in about 35% of Queen Anne homes. The second-level tourette with the open porch is not common. The house has the classic primary staircase with a second staircase off the back of the kitchen which was originally designed for servants. The flooring found in the parlor and dining room is original woodwork from construction. This is quite a gem found in rural Minnesota. The tax records reflect this home was built in 1908. Queen Anne homes are typically found to have been built between 1880-1910
